About BlogShop

BlogShop is a capacity-building coursed designed for Access Academy students to introduce them to the blogosphere and become bloggers themselves.

As the world becomes smaller with the advent of the internet and its wide web of connections, our students can benefit from being empowered by putting their own uncensored ideas out into the blogosphere.   A broad range of topics can be incorporated within the scope of addressing social inequality as it permeates many aspects of our lives and it will be an enlightening venture for the students to discover and present these various aspects of it through blogging.
Blogging activism is about connecting voices through a network and to offer our students an opportunity to present their personal introspection and commentary on social inequality and exclusion.

The act of blogging itself/sharing one’s story about how getting an education/photographing the rubble of a developing city/struggling to discover one’s own voice as a young south Asian woman is an act of activism in itself.
